&lt;p&gt;Not less than 13 species of primates are found in the TGKS landscape, of which 8 are endemic to West Africa. In addition, several of these species, or their subspecies, have a so-called &#171;sassandrian&#187; distribution, being restricted to the west of the Sassandra River in C&#244;te d'Ivoire. These include the endangered Western chimpanzee (Pan troglodytes verus), the Sooty mangabey (Cercocebus atys), and the Diana monkey (Cercopithecus (...)&lt;/p&gt;
